About Me
Before you share your story...

I'll share mine
My name is Sarai (pronounced Sur-eye). I’m 28, a self-taught photographer and lover of road trips, bouldering, spending time outdoors, learning, and the incredible beauty of the American West.
I married my college sweetheart in the middle of the lockdowns in May 2020, and ran off to Olympic National Park to spend the summer working on the shore of Lake Crescent. He is my best friend and adventure buddy, and we have been inseparable ever since. We've been blessed with a beautiful child and they are my constant inspiration.
I have loved photography since high school, and really started taking it seriously in college, second shooting my first wedding in 2018 and then buying a "serious" camera in 2019. Since then I shoot every chance I get. I decided to pursue weddings full time after moving to Montana in 2022 and have been pursuing this dream wholeheartedly ever since.
I fell in love with weddings immediately, drawn in by the sheer joy and emotion of the day. I find so much joy in being part of the most amazing day of someone's life and the apex of their relationship so far. Love has shaped me as a person and a photographer so I seek to do love justice in every photo I take.

My Philosophy

Capturing the essence of your relationship with artful storytelling

My priority is to truly get to know you, in order to create a gallery that feels personal, genuine, and uniquely yours. Before your wedding, I ask thoughtful questions to understand your style, your connection, and the moments that matter most to you. This helps me craft an experience—and a collection of images—that reflect the heart of your day. The goal? That every time you look back, you feel the love, joy, and magic all over again.

Digital & 120 Film

I include film in my packages because its texture and tones bring a warmth and nostalgia that perfectly reflect the emotion of your day.
In order to maintain a timeless feel without sacrificing quality, I use a 1972 Hasselblad 500 C/M. This allows for a sharp image with a beautiful filmic, vintage quality that digital just can't beat.
Bucket List Locations

Olympic National Park, WA

Before I began my tenure as a wedding photographer here in Montana, I spent two magical summers doing seasonal work in Olympic. I got to know the area very intimately and I would love to return with a couple to my favorite place in the world.

The Oregon Coast

I had the most amazing road trip through Canon Beach, Ecola State park and along the coast. Since then I have wanted to come back to shoot on those beautiful beaches with a couple who will enjoy it as much as I do.

Hood River, OR

I would love to shoot an intimate elopement where we spend the whole day (or two) driving along the Historic Columbia River Highway. If you love a good road trip and varied scenery, this experience might be for you!

Lake Clark National Park, AK

I've dreamt of an Alaska elopement for years and would love to be part of an incredible adventure in the backcountry.

Exquisite, Gorgeous, Emotional

"Sarai did our wedding photos and some single shots of me and I couldn’t be more overjoyed with the results. Not only is she talented but she’s also extremely personable and kind. She went through every step of her plan with me and my husband and responded on late notice. She pays so much attention to detail and is always communicating where she is in her process. She captured our beautiful day so well. With so much emotion and fun. We couldn’t be happier!!"
