Before you share your story...

let me tell you mine...

My name is Sarai. I’m 27, a self-taught photographer and lover of road trips, mystery novels, learning new things, crime podcasts and the incredible beauty that is the American West.

I married my college sweetheart in the middle of the lockdowns in May 2020, and ran off to Olympic National Park to spend the summer working on the shore of the incredible Lake Crescent(I one hundred percent recommend a 4 month-long honeymoon in a National Park)! He is my best friend and adventure buddy, and we have been inseparable ever since. We now have a beautiful little girl and I can't overstate the love I have for them. I am truly blessed.

I have loved photography since high school, and really started taking it seriously in college, buying my first serious camera (a Canon 6D) in 2019. Since then I shoot every chance I get, and am constantly trying to improve. I believe there is always room to grow, so I always chase new knowledge and inspiration. My current biggest inspirations are my husband, Forrest Mankins, Mark Maggiori and God's beautiful Creation.

I’m quite down to earth, bubbly and curious. I love random chats about your hobbies and to find out what experiences and passions and make you- YOU!

My Philosophy

Capturing the essence of your relationship with artful storytelling

My goal is to get to know you so we can create a gallery that FEELS like you!  I ask a few extra questions to get a feel for your vibe so we can create an authentic experience and photos that to look back on and feel all of the wedding day love all over again.

Olympic national park

Before I began my tenure as a wedding photographer here in Montana, I spent two magical summers doing seasonal work in Olympic. I got to know the area very intimately and I would love to return with a couple to my favorite place in the world.

the oregon coast

I've had the opportunity to visit Canon Beach and Ecola State park and drive along the coast, and since then I have wanted to come back to shoot on those beautiful beaches.

Hood River, Oregon

I would love to shoot an intimate elopement where we spend the whole day (or two) driving along the Historic Columbia River Highway. If you love a good road trip, and varied scenery, this experience might be for you!
